Theology Uncorked: What’s a Catholic to do? How to vote your conscience
by editor

This October's Theology Uncorked will feature Fr. Brian O'Brien, the president of Bishop Kelley High School, speaking on the topic of the November election.

As citizens, we have a moral obligation to vote. But how do we, not only as Americans, but more importantly as Catholics, vote with a conscience that has been formed by a faith in Jesus Christ? As the Church we are called to serve the common good. How best can we do so given the choices placed before us on the ballot next month? Such is the nature of this timely topic.

Theology Uncorked is the monthly speaker series at the Church of the Madalene. Held in conjunction with Ranch Acres Wine and Spirits, the evening begins with light refreshments and wine sampling at 6:30pm. A brief discussion of the wine takes place from 7:00-7:15pm, with the main presentation going from 7:15-8:00pm.

Childcare will be provided and, as always, guests are welcome.
