~~NURSERY GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS
NURSERY RULES & EXPECTATIONS
The Nursery is available for children in Kindergarten and younger. It is a parish policy that the parents do not enter the nursery while dropping off or picking up child(ren). This is a safety measure for the children. Please label all items that are being left in the nursery with the children, such as diaper bags, sippy cups, special toys, etc. (Masking tape with a Sharpie works great!) Parents will be notified when children refuse to follow instructions or put other children in unsafe situations. (After 3 notifications, the child will be placed on a leave from the nursery until the director and parents meet to discuss return). Parents will be notified if child(ren) have excessive coughing or runny noses. Please do not bring child(ren) if they’ve had a fever in the last 24 hours. Parents will be notified if children are inconsolable after 10 minutes. Starting in October, the children will be required to remove shoes outside the door. The children have access to animal crackers, Goldfish and water during their stay. Please advise the attendants of any allergies. The nursery opens 15 minutes before Mass times. We have a capacity limit of 18 people, (all ages) in the nursery. Come early. Our attendants, Mary Kate, Kyla, Ashlyn, Katie, Rosemary, Lacey, Irene and Madalyn are all wonderful caregivers and adore all of the children. They are in good hands. If you have any questions or concerns, please give me a call.
