Monday, September 19, is our Autumn social. The main event is “Wine, Cheese, & Chocolate”. We ask for $5 for this event.
The book selection for Thursday, October 27th is “My Sisters the Saints: A Spiritual Memoir” by Colleen Carroll Campbell. This book “recounts Ms. Campbell’s discovery of kinship with six great women saints at crucial junctures on her journey through her life”. A 2013 “Christopher Award” winner, this book speaks to women of all ages! The fall service project of feeding TU students at the weekly open luncheon held at the Newman Center, will be Tuesday, November 15. The October Monday night meeting will be “Hearts 2 Hands”, again. We will have hands on experience to learn how to serve with our hearts through handiwork. We will also collect small toiletries for an abuse shelter.
At the end of November, we close out the year with Clairvaux Club’s most popular event, Advent by Candlelight, a peaceful evening of fellowship and faith to prepare for Advent.
As the 2016 year draws to a close, the Clairvaux Club is already planning for 2017. Clairvaux Club keeps our members informed and makes requests by judicious use of e-mails. Please be open to help serve the women and parish of St. Bernard’s parish.
