KOC BREAKFAST FOR OUR SEMINARIANS

Posted on March 23, 2016 in: General News

Breakfast to Support Seminarians - Sunday, April 3, 2016.  Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.” And they left their nets and followed Him. (Mark 1:16-18).  Our seminarians are answering Jesus’ commandment but they need our help!  It costs tens of thousands of dollars to educate seminarians and they also have living expenses.  Your Knights of Columbus Council 11959 has adopted three seminarians, Juan Grajeda, Vince Fernandez and Duy Nguyen.  In addition to praying for them, we provide our seminarians with financial assistance.  In an effort to muster financial resources to help our future priests, the Knights invite you to attend a pancake breakfast on Sunday, April 3, 2016 in the gym between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.  We will serve delicious pancakes, sausage, eggs, fresh fruit, coffee and juice.  The Knights beg for your generosity and ask that instead of an admission charge you please donate whatever amount you feel is appropriate.  We will collect donations at the breakfast and the money will go to our seminarians. If you can not attend the breakfast but want to give please make a check out to "Knights of Columbus" and mail to St. Bernard of Clairvaux or drop in the collection basket in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Knights of Columbus" on the outside.  Please help us send out more laborers into His harvest.
