MUSIC NOTES for 4th Sunday of Lent

The fourth Sunday of Lent brings us two sets of Readings:  Cycle A at the 8:30 mass for our RCIA candidates and catechumens, and Cycle C at the other masses.  Because our music at mass tries to underline and deepen the message of the Readings, we have two different sets of music.  The 8:30 Cycle A message refers to the Blind Man, Bartimaeus.  “Grace” and “See What You Are” speak of our challenge and ability to really see.  Cycle C at the other masses speaks of the Prodigal Son and God’s forgiveness.  “Grace”, “Amazing Grace”, and “Remember Not” all rejoice in God’s forgiveness.
