Day of Recollection for the Sick and Infirm
Those in the parish who suffer chronic or severe health problems will be interested to know that there will be a Day of Recollection offered just for them on February 11, 2016 at the campus of Catholic Charities, 2450 North Harvard, Tulsa). Presented as part of the Diocesan celebration of the Jubilee Year of Mercy, this spiritual evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a meal followed by a talk and Benediction in the Catholic Charities chapel. Deacon Dan Brennan will be the presenter.
Those interested in attending the dinner should R.S.V.P. to the Office of the Diaconate 918-307-4955 by February 8th and advise any dietary needs. Attendees may opt to attend only the talk and benediction. Ordained in 2014 and assigned to St. Benedict Parish in Broken Arrow, Deacon Brennan is himself a paraplegic as the result of an automobile accident 31 years ago. Married he and his wife have three children.
