St. Thomas’ Treatise on Human Nature

This class will examine that part of creation where matter and spirit are joined, our own human nature.  Primary topics will include the nature of the soul, its powers, and operations, as well as the state of the soul before the Fall of Adam, and in the afterlife.

Day & Time: Mondays, Feb 1, 8, 15, & 22, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church

This course will examine why and how the Catechism of the Catholic Church was prepared, looking at its internal structure, and content by major topics, in order to provide the user a familiarity in using it both as a source-reference of Catholic teachings as well as a guide for deepening one’s own spirituality.
Day & Time: Thursdays, Feb 18, 25; March 3 & 10, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
