The 2019-2020 season of MEN OF THE UPPER ROOM (MOUR) opens Wednesday, September 25th in the St. Bernard’s gymnasium.       Keeping with tradition, BISHOP KONDERLA will be the speaker at our opening session, with a FULL HOT BREAKFAST provided.   The group meets on most Wednesday mornings, with a light breakfast at 5:45 am,  followed by the presentation 6:15 am.  Each meeting includes a small group discussion with guided questions after the talk.  The schedule of sessions      generally follows the school year calendar.    &...

  Kick-off the new year of events for Seniors 55+ on Thursday, September 12!  The “tailgate  luncheon”  begins at 11:30 on September 12th in the Community Room.  Our Game day highlight is Fr. Shane Hewson!  Bring an idea for a new “team” name to replace Seniors 55+.   Bring your favorite appetizer or dessert and wear your favorite team attire if you desire! Habitat House

HABITAT HOUSE: We are now accepting donations for Habitat House #21, to be constructed in 2020. We have $42,677.19 on hand, and we need $55,000 to sponsor a home in 2020. Donations can be made to St. Bernard Church with a designation that the funds are for Habitat House. They can be sent to Dcn. Tim Sullivan at the parish or deposited in the Sunday collections.

The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is Thursday, the 15th. A vigil Mass will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday and then on thursday the masses will be at 8:30 am and 7 pm. All Masses will be in the church and it is a holy day of obligation.

Parish Wide Potluck
