Jenks Community Food Bank

With the possibility of a teacher walk-out beginning April 2nd resulting in school closures, some students in the Jenks School District will not have access to breakfast & lunch.  There are over 4000 students who normally receive free or reduced cost breakfast and/or lunch at school. JPS teachers, staff members, and administrators are working closely with the Jenks Community Food Bank and local business partners to gather food donations to distribute to students at strategic locations around Jenks and South Tulsa.  Plans are to distribute food to these children on Mondays and Thursdays while school is clos...
