MUSIC NOTES for 4th Sunday of Lent The fourth Sunday of Lent brings us two sets of Readings:  Cycle A at the 8:30 mass for our RCIA candidates and catechumens, and Cycle C at the other masses.  Because our music at mass tries to underline and deepen the message of the Readings, we have two different sets of music.  The 8:30 Cycle A message refers to the Blind Man, Bartimaeus.  “Grace” and “See What You Are” speak of our challenge and ability to really see.  Cycle C at the other masses speaks of the Prodigal Son and God’s forgiveness.  “Grace”, &ldqu...

KOC TOOTSIE ROLL DRIVE                 Report from the Tootsie Roll Drive:  Knights of Columbus Council 11959 is pleased to report that due to the tremendous generosity of our fellow parishioners, our Council collected $2,476.50 for individuals with intellectual disabilities.  The proceeds will go to the Center of Family Love in Okarche, Oklahoma and the Jenks Flying Eagles Special Olympics team.  Thank you to Monsignor Gaalaas for his support and to all our parishioners who donated.

Join Fr. Godfrey Mullen, OSB for our Lenten Mission on Lord Have Mercy! Celebrating the Extraordinary Jubilee. Fr. Godfrey will preach on this topic at all Masses this weekend and during three additional 7 p.m. Masses on Monday, February 29th-Wednesday, March 2nd with an extended mission homily. Chrism Mass

Chrism Mass on Wednesday March 23   Each year during Holy Week, the Bishop celebrates a solemn Mass at which he consecrates and blesses the oils which are used in our Sacramental Rites.  This  Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral on Wednesday March 23, at 5:30 in the evening.  For those who long to be able to participate in the holy week services both in the Cathedral and in our parish, this is a wonderful opportunity.  Join us for the annual Chrism Mass and savor the opportunity to pray with Catholics from across the Diocese this Holy Week.
