MUSIC NOTES

~~MUSIC NOTES  Already the second week of Advent!  And there's lots happening this weekend!  At Saturday 5:00 we have the RCIA Rite of Acceptance under the direction of Dr. Christine Myers. At Sunday 8:30 we have our Bronze Bells playing. The 11:15 Mass is Children's Advent Mass with the Children's Choir singing under direction Christy Andrews. And at the Sunday 5:00 we have our Contemporary Choir. We've changed Mass Settings to highlight that we've changed liturgical seasons. Will coordinate and schedule volunteer programs and special events within the parish Will be a staff liaison to all of our groups. ~~MUSIC NOTES    Happy New Year!  This weekend Cycle A of our liturgical year starts anew!  Our Gospel urges us to "stay awake" and to "throw off darkness. Look for these themes in music selections. "O Come Emmanuel", "Longing for Light", "Awake O Sleeper". We have RCIA Rite of Acceptance at the Saturday evening Mass with catechumens beginning their year of study under Dr. Christine Myers.  They'll join us for Communion at the Easter Vigil.
