ACTS GREENERY                   High quality, live greens will be available for sale until Nov. 5.  Proceeds go to St. Bernard’s ACTS, which has sponsored retreats for almost 500 adults and about 125 teens at our parish. CLAIRVAUX BOOK DISCUSSION Thank you to Kathy Sands for facilitating last week’s Clairvaux Club meeting on “The Friendship Project” book. The discussion explored suggestions for finding and keeping spiritual friends. The book presented eight virtues -- faith, hope, charity, prudence, gratitude, loyalty, generosity and prayerfulness – that we should look for in our friends, and practice ourselves. Meet Cheryl & Don Schendt. Donor, Volunteer, St. Bernard Parishioner Retired accountant, Don Schendt, has shared his expertise for the past 10 years by helping with accounts payable. Cheryl Schendt, a dietician, has been a helping hand and smiling face in Catholic Charities’ clothing center for the past year and a half.
