Nursery Guidelines

During scheduled Mass times, the nursery accepts children up to the age of 7. During other church-sponsored activities, the nursery will accept school-age children not old enough to stay home alone.

The nursery is open 15 minutes prior to and 15 minutes following Mass and other church gatherings. If you will be any later please notify the nursery staff prior to leaving your child.

We ask that you do not bring a child who has had any of the following in the past 24 hours: a fever of 99.0 or higher, vomiting or diarrhea.

Animal crackers, pretzels, and bottled water are served as snacks. If you do not want your child to have a snack or if they are allergic to any of these items, please notify the nursery staff.

To ensure the safety of your child we have implemented the following number-system: When you drop off your children, sign them in on the sign-in sheet. Please only use one line per child (this is to keep track of the number of children in the nursery), and please take one number per family. When you pick up your child, please present the ticket. If other members of the family are to pick up the child, please give them the ticket.

Also, we ask that parents not enter the nursery at any time. This is a safety precaution as well as a diocesan policy; no person who is not a “covered volunteer or employee” may enter the nursery. This is also to help keep order in the dropping off and picking up of children. The nursery staff will bring your children to the hallway door.
