The Clairvaux Club was re-established at St. Bernard's in 2008. Our mission is to promote a spirit of parish community, plan parish social functions, and enable a variety of apostolic works in the name of the parish.
Why Join? It’s a great way to meet other women in the parish and get involved in service, social and spiritual groups and have some fun at the same time. Membership is open to all adult women, and there is no membership fee.
When? The Clairvaux Club hosts a program once a month on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. We come together for a quick meeting and a social, spiritual, or service function.
Fun we have had in the past includes a Bunco Party, Wine Tasting, a Movie Night, Quilt Kit Making, Advent and Lenten spiritual retreats and more!
We have hosted several parish wide events, including Mayfest and Triviafest. Mayfest is a night of food, fun, drinks and dancing, complete with the May Pole Dance, a German polka band, the Polkatimers and the Chicken Dance. Triviafest is a wonderful night of trivia competition and fun with friends. It is one of our biggest fund raisers of the year. The event raised close to $15,000 in 2008. The money went to the construction of the Father Jewitt Memorial Habitat Houses number 9 and 10, which were dedicated on June 6, 2009.
Please join us in the social, spiritual and service activities and projects of our parish women’s group!
