MEET THE ASSOCIATE PASTOR |

Robert Kent Christopher Cain was born in Moline, IL. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Oklahoma State University and master’s of divinity from St. Meinrad Seminary. Father Cain also is in the U.S. Navy Reserves. |
|
After his ordination on July 21, 1995, Father Cain served as an associate pastor, first at St. Mary's in Tulsa, and subsequently St. John's in Bartlesville and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Dewey. He was administrator of Holy Rosary, Hartshorne; St. Catherine, Talihini, and Sacred Heart in Wilburton. |

In 2000, he became a full-time Navy chaplain; from April 2005 to May 2006, he was a chaplain at Saint Francis Hospital when again he was called to Navy duty. He first was dispatched to Afghanistan but almost immediately was transferred to Djibouti, Africa, where he was a chaplain until April 2007. |

Father Cain became associate pastor of St. Bernard of Clairvaux on June 6, 2007. |
